Project Details

Description

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of an ePlatform (WhatsApp group) intervention in improving self-care competency and mental health outcomes among PLHIV in Hong Kong. The objectives are to assess the impact of the ePlatform on self-care, explore its relationship with mental health outcomes, compare results between the intervention and control groups, and identify factors like social support and stigma that mediate the intervention's effects. A comparative survey design will involve 150 participants, with data collected at baseline, 1, 3, and 6 months. The study will inform future digital health strategies for PLHIV.
