The interaction between natural polysaccharide and gut microbiota

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

We believe that polysaccharides would affect gut microbiota activities. This study elucidated the structure of polysaccharides derived from natural products and further investigated the role of different polysaccharides on the gut microbiota regulation through monosaccharide composition analysis, fermentation with human fecal cultures, etc. This provides the scientific basis for the application and development of polysaccharides derived from natural products.
