"Space Approach" Project

Po Leung Kuk Child Care Services commissioned ECEED to provide research consultation and training services on "Space Approach", a teaching approach that currently implemented in its 25 kindergartens. ECEED conducted class observations in 6 seed schools to assess the effectiveness of this approach on children's learning outcomes. Additionally, a series of 10 teacher training workshops were held to enhance the instructional skills and competencies of the principals and teachers from the 25 kindergartens. To share the benefits and insights of the "Space Approach" with the wider early childhood education community, the research results will be showcased at a Dissemination Seminar on 17 August 2024.
