Description
This study aims to develop a procedural modeling algorithm for producing generative sculptures based on data. The values extracted using emotion detection technology through text mining will be applied as parameters in this algorithm to generate various types of 3D models. Specifically, the crystal structures and principles of minerals will be examined and utilized to create an algorithm for generating new types of mineral shapes. This algorithm will support the development of a generative sculpture project that produces 3D models as sculptures. This study is expected to assist artists in exploring new methods of art production and expanding their artistic language by integrating data science, programming, procedural modeling, and 3D printing.
