Description
The contract between EPFL Pavilions and Roberto Alonso Trillo outlines the inclusion of his installation Polyp in the upcoming exhibition Musica ex-Machina: Machines Thinking Musically. This exhibition, set to run from September 20, 2024, to June 29, 2025, focuses on the evolution and impact of algorithmic music, exploring how machines create and manipulate musical sounds. Curated by distinguished professors, the exhibition promises a comprehensive overview of technological advancements in musical creativity from antiquity to the present day. EPFL Pavilions has committed to paying research and production costs totaling 7000 Euros. The research component includes the integration of technology and art, logistical planning for international exhibitions, and the creation of interactive experiences.
