The technical outcomes will advance solar energy harvesting and enable diverse optoelectronic devices including LEDs, photodetectors, and memristors. Life cycle sustainability assessments will quantify environmental benefits compared to lead-based alternatives and guide optimization of synthesis protocols, while compliance and market analyses will support translation into practical applications. The fundamental insights will influence broader semiconductor technologies, contributing to building a smart and sustainable society in Hong Kong and beyond.
