Multi-disciplinary Research Centre (MRC)

RGC IDS project of SCE to expand SCE’s research capacity and infrastructure by establishing the SCE Multi-disciplinary Research Centre (MRC) with 3 research laboratories, including Active Living Laboratory, Testing and Analytical Laboratory, and Social Science Research Laboratory. Outputs included 8 papers/abstracts of international conferences, 1 research report, 1 journal publication, and 1 post-conference book. Engaged over 20 academics/researchers from Hong Kong, Japan and USA. Trained over 140 students. Reached 620 academics/ professionals/ government officials/ students/ general public of 14 MRC research-related workshops organised. Organised an international conference and attracted over 260 academics/ researchers/ students locally and internationally.
