Integrating Motivational Interviewing and Photovoice to Enhance Future Care Preparation for Older Singletons and Doubletons: A Three-Arm Cluster Randomised Controlled Trial

This proposed study will integrate the preparation for future care needs model, the transtheoretical model, and social cognitive theory to develop an enhanced future care preparation intervention by incorporating the empowering and visual-verbal Photovoice into Motivational Interview (MI). It will compare the effectiveness of the MI–Photovoice intervention with the MI–only intervention and an active control, using a three-arm randomised controlled trial.
