Featuring Yam Gong’s Poetry at American Universities

As the co-translator of Yam Gong's poetry, I received a Cultural Exchange Project Grant to bring Yam Gong to the United States for a series of literary events at American universities in the Boston area: Harvard University, Boston University, Brown University, and The College of the Holy Cross. The purpose was to increase the awareness and appreciation of Hong Kong literature for a wider, international audience, thereby extending Hong Kong’s status as an East-meets-West centre for international cultural exchange.
