Establishing an Innovative Gerontological Learning Hub

This project aims to establish an Innovative Gerontological Learning Hub in the School of Continuing Education, Hong Kong Baptist University to enhance the quality of teaching and learning through innovative teaching and learning strategies such as virtual reality and age-simulation tools. The Learning Hub to enhance students’ understanding of the ageing process, the changing needs of older adults, and common elderly problems through experiential learning and serve as a platform to raise public awareness about the ageing process, the changing needs of older adults, and to promote the positive image of older adults through organizing visits, experiential learning activities, and provide education talks to the public.
