Project Details
Description
The ancient land corridor between Europe and Asia is testimony to connectivity and collision between European and Asian civilisations. From language and script to artifact and wealth, from psychological consciousness to philosophical enlightenment, it generated innumerable ingenious and unique developments in the burgeoning schools of thought and in art and culture of the time.
Working in partnership with museums, experts and researchers in Art History and Archaeology, this multi-dimensional, multi-layered, and multi-faceted research project will describe, compare and analyse the rich and varied ancient world of Europe and Asia, the cultural and artistic exchanges along the Silk Routes, and the historical revision and revelation caused by new archeological finds, with the support of the artificial intelligence technology, 3D models of artifacts, and scientific examinations.
