Description
With the fast development of AI tools, university instructors will need generative AI-specific digital competencies to implement these tools appropriately. This project aims to develop ?Professional Generative AI competence? (P-AI-C). P-AI-C is likely to be subject-specific, given that the use of generative AI will differ in different professions. This project has the following aims: (1) Identify the Professional Generative AI competence in different university subject disciplines; (2) Contextualize the Professional Generative AI Competence within in each universities? policies and guidelines regarding generative AI tool use; (3) Develop training and continuous support for university instructors to develop Professional Generative AI competence, and (4) Develop a developmental framework and reflective tool for evaluating Professional Generative AI competence for instructors' professional development.
