Project Details
Description
In addition to the involvement of Hong Kong Baptist University's faculty and students, the "Cultivating Peace" Project also collaborates with different educational organizations, social welfare institutions, churches, art groups, and individual artists. After the training, participants engage in a series of community service and art creation activities, bringing together the efforts of various sectors of society to advocate for peace. The practical learning component aims to enhance participants' concern for the community, cultivate their sense of pride and abilities, and strengthen their sense of community identity. By integrating social work, art, and peace elements, the program seeks to reshape the understanding and relationship between participants and community members through community service, art exhibitions, and theater performances, with the hope that more individuals in society will recognize the importance of "cultivating peace" and join in promoting the message of peace.
