Description
Project co-developed with the University Library.
The Asian-European Energy Map is an innovative online platform designed to track and visualize energy-saving initiatives across selected communities in Hong Kong and various Asian-European cities. This project integrates two core components. The City Solar Map showcases the generation and performance of solar systems in Hong Kong, highlighting the associated carbon reduction benefits. The City Energy Map monitors energy consumption hotspots, providing valuable insights into energy usage patterns. By combining these elements, the platform fosters public engagement, enhances data accessibility, and facilitates collaborative research aimed at promoting low-carbon urban development.
