- Provide leadership contributions via intellectual-based knowledge transfer in serving the community needs - Provide significant, sustainable positive impact and/or fundamental change for long term betterment of the community - Provide exemplar contributions towards building the research and teaching strengths at HKBU - Possessing the greatest potential to further raise HKBU’s good reputation globally
Awarded Project: “AI-Powered Fact-Checking as a Service (FaaS)” The rapid proliferation of misinformation in the digital age has far outpaced existing manual verification capabilities. This AI-Powered Automated Fact-Checking technology leverages AI agents to provide scalable, transparent, and trustworthy verification for media, governments, and financial institutions. By protecting public trust and financial stability, it creates significant economic value. This breakthrough was notably awarded the International Press Prize at the prestigious 51st International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva, cementing its role in ensuring global information credibility.
