Biography

Tiejun Tong is a Professor of Statistics in the Department of Mathematics, Hong Kong Baptist University. He received his PhD degree in 2005 from University of California at Santa Barbara. Before joining Hong Kong Baptist University in 2010, Professor Tong was a Postdoctoral Associate from 2005-2007 at Yale University, and an Assistant Professor from 2007-2010 at University of Colorado at Boulder. Professor Tong is also an Elected Member of the International Statistical Institute. His research areas include statistics, biostatistics, meta-analysis and evidence-based medicine. He has published more than 80 journal  articles including 3 highly cited papers and 3 hot papers, with a total of 6300 citations in Google Scholar.
