Biography

Dr. Lam obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chinese Medicine from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in 2005, followed by a Master's degree in Chinese Medicine (Acupuncture) from the University of Hong Kong in 2007 and a Master's degree in Public Health (Epidemiology and Biostatistics) in 2016. After completing a Doctor of Chinese Medicine degree from Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine in 2010, Dr. Lam received a Hospital Authority of Hong Kong scholarship for postdoctoral research and advanced studies in Internal Medicine (Neurology) at the Xiyuan Hospital of the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences in Beijing.

Her professional expertise encompasses Chinese medicine in cancer treatment and palliative care, drug interactions between Chinese and Western medicines, and acupuncture therapy for neurological disorders. This includes management of chemotherapy and radiotherapy side effects, post-stroke sequelae, childhood autism, facial paralysis, sudden sensorineural hearing loss, and various pain conditions.

2005年於北京中醫藥大學取得中醫學學士學位，其後於香港大學分別獲得中醫學碩士（針灸學）(2007年) 及公共衞生碩士（流行病學及生物統計學）(2016年)，並於2010年在廣州中醫藥大學完成中醫學博士學位。同年獲香港醫院管理局獎學金赴北京中國中醫科學院西苑醫院進修神經內科並完成博士後研究。專業範疇包括中醫藥癌症治療及舒緩治療、中西藥相互作用研究，以及針灸治療神經系統疾病，包括放化療後副作用、中風後遺症、兒童自閉症、面癱、突發性失聰及各類痛症等。
