Dr. Hui is a musicologist who specialises in sensibility, 18th-century aesthetics, topic theory, keyboard music, and Haydn studies. Her research seeks to cross the boundaries of music, history, philosophy, and literature. Her work has been published or is forthcoming in Music & Letters, International Review of the Aesthetics and Sociology of Music, Journal of Musicology, Journal of Musicological Research, The Eighteenth-Century: Theory and Interpretation, and Journal of Tolkien Research.
