Biography
Dr. Zhang holds a Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Chinese Medicine from Southern Medical University. She obtained her PhD degree at the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, the University of Hong Kong. In 2022, Dr. Zhang joined Hong Kong Baptist University as a post-doctoral research fellow, and currently holds the position of Research Assistant Professor at the School of Chinese Medicine. Additionally, Dr. Zhang is a registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner in both Mainland China and Hong Kong.
Research Interests
- Clinical research on psychiatric disorders, gastrointestinal diseases, noncommunicable diseases, and post-COVID conditions.
- Clinical trials and evidence-based medicine for acupuncture and related therapies.
- Evidence-based complementary and alternative medicine for cancer care.
