Biography

Jason Dorwart, PhD, is Assistant Professor of Global Theatre Studies at Hong Kong Baptist University. His book The Incorporeal Corpse: Performing Disability in the Liminal Stage will be released by Lexington Books in 2022. He is editing a book from Routledge called Alternative Careers for the Performing Arts: Succeeding as a Creative Professional. Jason’s work has appeared in TheatreForum, where he also served as Lead Editor, Gale Cengage’s Disability Experiences: Memoirs, Autobiographies, and Other Personal Narratives, and in The Food Network Recipe: Essays on Cooking, Celebrity and Competition. He was awarded the 2017 University of California Chancellor’s Dissertation Medal for Arts & Humanities.
