Biography

I received my PhD in 2014 from Stanford University, under the supervision of Persi Diaconis, and my BSc (2009) is from the University of Cambridge. Prior to joining HKBU, I was a postdoctoral fellow at LaCIM (combinatorics laboratory) in Montreal, and taught a class at McGill University.

I received a Faculty Performance Award in early career teaching in 2019, and a Department Award in teaching in 2021.

Research Interests

Algebraic combinatorics: symmetric functions and other algebraic structures on combinatorial objects, such as combinatorial Hopf algebras.
