Zhongliang ZHOU, Mr

Mr ZHOU Zhongliang is currently Assistant Professor of Practice at the School of Chinese Medicine, HKBU. He graduated from Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine in 1993 and specializes in acupuncture.  Before coming to HK, he has acted as the chief practitioner of the Third Affiliated Hospital of Xuzhou Medical College, Jiangsu Province. He has over 20 years of clinical experience and teaching. He excels in combining of acupuncture, therapeutic massage, Chinese herb therapy and the modern concept of rehabilitation in treating various diseases.  He is also skillful at treating headache, vertigo, facial nerve palsy, stroke sequelae, cervical spondylosis, frozen shoulder, lumbar intervertebral disc herniation, osteoarthritis and other pain symptoms. He emphasizes on the traditional Chinese medicine concept of “health preservation” and flexibly applied the principles “preventing disease before its occurrence” in clinical practice.

香港浸會大學中醫藥學院中醫臨床助理教授。1993年畢業於南京中醫藥大學針灸專業獲醫學學士學位。來港履新前為江蘇省徐州醫學院附屬第三醫院主任中醫師，中醫科主任，康復醫學科主任。從事臨床、教學20餘年。專業研究範圍為各種痛症及神經系統疾病。曾發表論文《眼針配合毫針治療周圍性面癱療效觀察》、《針刺配合推拿治療膝關節骨性關節炎療效觀察》、《少陽三針刺法治療頸性眩暈療效觀察》，《針刺配合推拿治療頸型頸椎病33例療效觀察》等十餘篇，並參編《中西醫結合靜脈血栓性疾病診療手冊》一部。
