Biography

Dr. ZHAO Jun is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biology at Hong Kong Baptist University. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. His research focuses on environmental catalysis and its application in biomass conversion, biowastes utilization, biorefinery, bioenergy and environmental remediation, which integrates nanomaterials design and selection with advances in process design to achieve improved conversion efficiency and waste-to-fuel/energy technologies.
