Dr. Zhang graduated from Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine with a bachelor’s degree and obtained her Master’s and PhD degrees from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. Dr. Zhang joined the School of Chinese Medicine at Hong Kong Baptist University in July 2016, serving as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow and Research Assistant Professor in the Clinical Division until 2023. In 2024, she joined the Teaching and Research Division as a Lecturer. Her research mainly focuses on the classic theory of Huangdi Neijing (e.g., five circuits and six qi), evidence-based Chinese medicine, health research reporting guidelines, and clinical trials of Chinese herbal medicine. 

Dr. Zhang is a registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner in both Mainland China and Hong Kong. She has successfully recieved a total of seven external funding grants as a principal investigator between 2018 and 2025, and has participated in eight research projects focused on Chinese medicine as the lead investigator. Dr. Zhang has published 100 academic papers in international and Chinese peer-reviewed medical journals during 2013-2025, with more than 70 of these articles as the first or corresponding author. Additionally, she has served as the editor for two academic books.

Dr. Zhang's contributions to the field have been recognized through several academic awards and honors, including "2024 China's CNKI Highly Cited Scholars TOP 1%", "Top Cited Article in Journal of Evidence-Based Medicine in 2025", "100 outstanding reviewers of the fourth batch of China Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy" in 2023, "the 1st Qiu Zhen Scholars of Chinese Medicine" in 2020, "TOP ARTICLES IN OUTSTANDING S&T JOURNALS OF CHINA, FRONTRUNNER 5000 (as the first author)" in 2014 and 2017, respectively; and the "Third Prize of Science and Technology Award, China Association of Chinese Medicine" in 2015; etc.

Apart from clinical practice and research, Dr Zhang also serves as an Executive Committee Member of the Hong Kong Registered Chinese Medicine Practitioners Association; Committee Member of Neijing Branch of China Association of Chinese Medicine, and the 2nd Standards of Traditional Chinese Medicine of World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies; as well as the Council member of Specialty Committee of Clinical Curative Effect Evaluation of World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies, and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area TCM Clinical Inheritance and Innovation Research Center, etc.

張軒，女，中醫學博士，博士后，香港註冊中醫師。2010年畢業于天津中醫藥大學，2013年及2016年分別獲得北京中醫藥大學中醫基礎理論（《黃帝內經》專業）學術型碩士與博士學位，2016年7月入職香港浸會大學中醫藥學院臨床部，先後任職博士后研究學人、研究助理教授，以及教學科研部講師。同時兼任香港浸會大學深圳研究院副研究員，從事中醫臨床、科研及教學工作7年餘。

張博士于2020年入選第一批青年中醫藥求真學者，2023年入選《中華中醫藥雜誌》卓越人才庫，被評為優秀審稿專家。現任中華中醫藥學會內經學分會常務委員，香港註冊中醫學會第十屆執委，世中聯國際中醫藥臨床標準工作委員會第二屆常務理事，粵港澳大灣區中醫藥學會聯盟理事，世中聯臨床療效評價委員會理事，Frontiers in Pharmacology 專刊客座主編，BMC Medical Research Methodology ，Scientific Reports 等期刊編輯，J Transl Med, Sci Total Environ, Front Immunol 等十幾種國際期刊審稿專家，國家自然科學基金委員會醫學科學部（面上項目）的通訊評審專家。

張博士自2018年至今，主持國家自然科學基金、香港醫療衛生研究基金、中醫藥發展基金等共7項，累計獲得資助經費超過600萬港幣。作為主要研究者參與香港創新科技署InnoHK項目、國家重點研發項目、國自然面上項目等8項。自 2013 年至今，張博士在國內外期刊上發表（含已錄用）學術論文100余篇，其中第一/通訊作者（含共同）論文70余篇，SCI論文50余篇。曾以第一作者兩次被評為領跑者 5000 頂尖學術論文，2024中國知網高被引學者Top 1%，Journal of Evidence-Based Medicine期刊高引用率文章（一作），並榮獲中華中醫藥學會科學技術三等獎。
