Kai XU, Prof

Prof Xu is currently Professor of Practice at the School of Chinese Medicine of HKBU. Prof Xu obtained his Bachelor's degree from Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1984. After graduation, he worked at First Affiliated Hospital, Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.  In 1993, he obtained his Master degree from Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. Before coming to Hong Kong, Prof Xu was the Director of Academic Leader of Oncology Department of Guangdong Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Professor of Chinese Internal Medicine and the Supervisor of Master degree students. From 2007 to 2009, he worked for Yan Chai Hospital cum Hong Kong Baptist University Chinese Medicine Clinic cum Training and Research Centre as the Director of Chinese Medicine. From 2011 to 2018, he worked for School of Chinese Medicine, The University of Hong Kong as Principal Lecturer.  Prof Xu is currently Vice President of Classical TCM Formula for Cancer Treatment and Research Committee of World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies, Executive Council Member of World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies.  Prof Xu excels in the Chinese Medicine treatment of cancer and internal diseases.  Prof Xu has issued over 20 academic papers and participated in 10 research projects. 

簡歷

1984年畢業於黑龍江中醫藥大學獲中醫學士學位，同年就職於黑龍江中醫藥大學附屬第一醫院；1993年畢業於廣州中醫藥大學獲碩士學位。來港前為廣東省中醫院腫瘤科主任、學術帶頭人、主任中醫師、中醫內科學教授、碩士研究生導師。2007年至2009年曾任香港浸會大學訪問學者、仁濟醫院暨香港浸會大學中醫診所及臨床教研中心中醫服務主任、主任中醫師。2011年至2018年任香港大學中醫藥學院首席講師。2018年6月開始，受聘於香港浸會大學中醫藥學院任臨床部中醫臨床教授。  現任世中聯腫瘤經方治療專業委員會副會長、香港中醫藥學會腫瘤專業委員會副主任委員，以及世中聯醫案專業委員會常務理事。  專業研究範圍為中醫藥治療惡性腫瘤和中醫內科疾病。  研究課題10餘項，發表著作20餘篇。
