Biography

Dr. Wookje (UJ) SUNG is an assistant professor in the Management Department of the Hong Kong Baptist University's School of Business since 2018. He earned his bachelor's and master's degrees from Yonsei University, South Korea, and Ph.D. from the University of Kentucky, U.S.A. His research investigates how social relationships and organizational changes influence workgroups' processes as well as individual employees' career and performance outcomes. He has published articles at the Journal of Applied Psychology and the Academy of Management Best Paper Proceedings. Apart from research, he also enjoys teaching negotiations, organizational behavior, and leadership. He received the Faculty/School/Academy of Visual Arts Performance Award for Early Career Teaching in 2022.
