Prof Tu is currently Professor of Practice at the School of Chinese Medicine of Hong Kong Baptist University.  Prof Tu graduated from Jiangxi College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in 1982 and got his doctorate of Integrated TCM and Western Medicine on Orthopedics and Traumatology in the China Academy of TCM in 1991. He was a clinical professor and chief physician in Beijing University of Chinese Medicine before he came to Hong Kong. Since his graduation from the University more than 20 years ago, Prof Tu has been engaged in clinical practice, teaching, and research on Orthopedic. His research focuses are on fractures of the musculoskletal system, pain on the neck and back, disorder of joints, and injuries of soft tissues. The examples are: cervical spondylosis, periomethritis, tennis elbow, prolapsed lumbar intervertebral disc, degenerative osteoarthritis, etc.

香港浸會大學中醫藥學院臨床部中醫臨床教授。  涂豐教授1982年於江西中醫學院本科畢業，1991年於中國中醫研究院獲中西醫結合骨傷科醫學博士學位，抵港前為北京中醫大學教授及主任醫師。涂教授大學畢業20多年來一直從事中西醫結合骨傷科的臨床、教學及相關科研工作，其主要研究內容為：骨骼肌肉系統疾病的骨折及頸、腰、四肢關節疼痛的軟組織損傷，如頸椎病、肩周炎、網球肘、腰間盤突出、退行性骨關節病等。
