Xiaoguang LI, Prof

Prof Li Xiaoguang graduated from Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine in 1983 and has worked as chief practitioner of Harbin Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and associate professor of HKU School of Professional and Continuing Education. She is currently Professor of Practice of the School of Chinese Medicine , HKBU and registered Chinese medicine practitioner of the Chinese Medicine Council of Hong Kong.  With nearly 30 years of experience in Chinese medicine clinical work, Prof Li specialises in CM gynaecology and has issued several academic papers with intensive study on gynaecological oncology, by which applying Chinese medicine to treat cervical cancer, cervical neoplasia, hyperplasia of mammary gland and breast cancer etc. effectively. It can relieve pain, improve life quality and extend life of the patients. She excels in treating menstrual irregularity, dysmenorrheal, metrorrhagia, menopausal syndrome, endometriosis, sterility and more.

香港浸會大學中醫藥學院臨床部中醫臨床教授。1983年本科學士畢業於黑龍江中醫藥大學，同年就職於哈爾濱市中醫醫院婦科，2002年晉升為主任醫師；於2006年1月至2011年10月就職於香港大學專業進修學院，從事教學及臨床工作。2011年10月至今，受聘於香港浸會大學中醫學院臨床部。曾主持參與多項科研，發表論文多篇。專業研究重點為婦女不孕症和婦科疑難雜症。
