Biography
I am an Assistant Professor in the department of history at Hong Kong Baptist University. My work in the field of Global Antiquities - comparing ancient China and the ancient Mediterranean. I am interested in religion, environment, and governmentality in early China (Warring States through Han) and Ancient Rome. My current research focuses on the development of surveillance technologies in the ancient world.
