Renee Chiu
Dr. Renee Chiu received her First-class Honours Degree in Social Work and a Doctorate of Philosophy Degree from the Hong Kong Baptist University, and a Master Degree in Family Counselling and Family Education from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Dr. Chiu is currently teaching subjects related to counseling, family therapy, career counseling, group work and art therapy. She is the Fellow of Social Work and Mental Health Practice Centre (SWMHPC) and the Convenor of the Counseling and Psychological Enrichment (CAPE) Service.
Dr. Chiu is a senior social worker, an Associate Fellow, Approved Supervisor and Certified Counselor of the Hong Kong Professional Counselling Association (HKPCA). She is also one of the teaching faculty members of the ISS-HK Family Institute, and Certified Trainer & Career Service Provider of National Career Development Association (NCDA) and Certified Trainer of Global Career Development Facilitators (GCDF) of Centre for Credentialing and Education (CCE) in the US. She is also an EMDR practitioner serving individuals and families confronted with trauma.
She has been engaging in individual and family counseling, and professional training for more than 15 years, focusing on the areas of parent-child relationship, marriage, personal growth, career development and intimate relationship.
