Biography
Prof. Qiu obtained his PhD degree from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He is interested in aquatic biodiversity, ecology and genomics. He currently studies deep-sea biodiversity, genetic connectivity, and genome-level adaptation to extreme environmental conditions. He also studies the benthic ecology and coral reef ecology, aiming to document their changes in response to environmental and anthropogenic stressors.
