Prof. PENG Bo is currently Professor of Practice at the School of Chinese Medicine, HKBU and Philip K.H. Wong Foundation Endowed Professor in Chinese Medicine – Geriatric Medicine.  Prof. Peng obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree (M.D) in integrated Western and Chinese medicine in Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine.  For over 30 years, he has been engaged in clinical, teaching and research work of TCM. Prof. Peng's clinical specialty is in utilizing integrated therapy of both Chinese medicine herbs and acupuncture to treat respiratory and geriatric conditions, as well as complex and refractory diseases. On the other hand, he is also an expert in preventing and combating sub-health by Chinese Medicine regimen and Chinese Medicinal food. His long-term clinical, teaching, and evidence-based research spans airway and vascular disorders, emerging respiratory infectious diseases, healthy ageing, and sub-health regulation. During Hong Kong’s fifth wave of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2022, Professor Peng served as the leader of the physician team in the Chinese Medicine Anti-epidemic Medical Team at the Kai Tak Community Isolation Facility, providing frontline care to patients.

Prof. Peng has carried out 1 Hong Kong Chinese Medicine Development Fund,  5 national and provincial research projects funded by National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and other science foundations and has participated in several major projects including “National Science and Technology Major Project”, “the National Basic Research Program of China (973 Program)” and projects funded by NSFC . Prof. Peng's distinguished achievements have been widely recognized through numerous awards and prizes received over years. Moreover, Prof. Peng has obtained 2 national invention patent, has edited scholarly monographs and has been compiler member for 8 books.  He has also published over 60 academic papers.

香港浸會大學中醫臨床教授，黃乾亨基金中醫藥教授（老年醫學），南京中醫藥大學中西醫結合臨床醫學博士。彭教授從事中醫臨床、教學及科研工作30餘年。專業研究範圍為應用中醫藥及針灸治療胸肺科、老年科疾病和疑難雜症，並擅長以中醫養生、藥膳及「治未病」理念調理亞健康狀態。長期致力於氣管、血管、新發呼吸道傳染病以及延緩衰老等及亞健康調理的臨床、教學與循證研究。2022年香港第五波新冠疫情期間，擔任新冠啟德方艙（社區隔離設施）中醫抗疫醫療隊醫師組負責人，於前線診治病人。

主持香港中醫藥發展基金1項、國家自然科學基金等國家及省部級科研項目5項；參與國家科技部重大專項、國家973計畫及多項國家自然科學基金研究。獲國家發明專利2項，中華中醫藥學會科技進步獎二等獎1項、三等獎2項，省級科技進步獎三等獎1項，科研成果4項。主編學術專著多部，主編參編學術專著8部，發表學術論文60餘篇。
