Biography

Dr. Liping Deng is an Associate Professor at the Department of Education Studies under the Faculty of Social Science, Hong Kong Baptist University. She is interested in the fusion of various emergent technologies and innovative pedagogies to develop 21st century skills in a range of formal and informal learning contexts. In specific, her research interests cover a wide range of topics along three main lines: (1) online teaching and learning, (2) young people’s engagement and multitasking with digital devices, (3) collaboration and cross-cultural communication with emergent technologies.
