Biography
Dr. Liang Zhao is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management, Marketing, and Information Systems at the School of Business. Liang's research interests focus on digital strategies, digital platforms, and the mechanisms through which digitization is transforming firms, markets, and industries. Specifically, he focuses on the areas of competitive behaviors of firms and the role of digitization intervened with managerial cognition in shaping such behaviors. He received his Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Prior to joining HKBU, he worked as a faculty member at D'Amore-McKim School of Business, Northeastern University, USA.
