Dr. Ding Jie is a lecturer in history at the Department of History, Hong Kong Baptist University. Her current research focuses on the history of modern Chinese publishing culture and the study of women in modern China. Dr. Ding received her PhD in History from the Hong Kong Baptist University in 2012 and lectures in the Department of History. Her other research interests include the study of Hong Kong history, modern Chinese intellectuals, the history of East-West relations, and modern socio-economic history, among others.
