Biography

Ming-Yen Cheng, Professor, earned her PhD at the University of North of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She joined HKBU after working at several institutions including the University College London as Chair of Statistics and the National Taiwan University as Distinguished Professor. She is Fellow of the American Statistical Association and Fellow of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics. She has served as an Associate Editor of Journal of the American Statistical Association, the Annals of Statistics, the American Statistician, among others. Many of her publications appear in top statistical journals including Journal of Royal Statistical Society Series B, Journal of the American Statistical Association and Annals of Statistics.
