Mr CHEN Wei is currently Professor of Practice of the School of Chinese Medicine, HKBU.  He graduated from Gansu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1984 with a bachelor's degree in medicine. In 1995, he graduated from Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine with a master's degree. Before coming to Hong Kong, he was the director of the Medical Education Department of Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the director of the Classical Clinical Research Office of TCM, and the deputy director of Chinese medicine. He was the master tutor of TCM internal medicine at the Second Clinical Medical College of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. From 2010 to 2018, YCH Hospital - Director of Chinese Medicine Service (YCH) and Director of Chinese Medicine at the Chinese Medicine Teaching and Research Center of Hong Kong Baptist University. From June 2018 to June 2019, he was the chief Chinese medicine practitioner of Hong Kong Ming Medical Hall Co., Ltd. Beginning in July 2019, he was employed as the chief lecturer in the clinical department of the School of Chinese Medicine, Hong Kong Baptist University.  The scope of professional research is the treatment of immune rheumatism and TCM medical diseases with traditional Chinese medicine.  He has 7 research projects and won the second prize of Guangdong Province Science and Technology Progress Award in 1999. He has published more than 20 papers and has written more than 10 papers. In July 2003, he was awarded the “National Chinese Medicine Fighting SARS Special Contribution Award” by the Chinese Medicine Association. 


1984年畢業於甘肅中醫药大學獲中醫學士學位,1995年畢業於廣州中醫藥大學獲碩士學位。來港前為廣東省中醫院醫教部主任、中醫經典臨床研究室主任、副主任中醫,廣州中醫藥大學第二臨床醫學院中醫內科碩士研究生導師。2010年至2018年任仁濟醫院-香港浸會大學中醫教研中心中醫服務主任(仁濟)、主任中醫師。2018年6至2019年6月任香港明醫堂有限公司首席中醫師。2019年7月開始,受聘於香港浸會大學中醫藥學院臨床部首席講師。  專業研究範圍為中醫藥治療免疫風濕類疾病和中醫內科疾病。  研究課題7項,1999年獲廣東省中醫藥科技進步二等獎一項。發表論文20餘篇,編寫論著10餘部。2003年7月獲中華中醫藥學會“全國中醫藥抗擊非典特殊貢獻獎”。
