Biography

Cedric holds a diploma in teaching French as a foreign language (DAEFLE) from the Alliance Française, and a master’s degree (M.A.) in linguistics and didactics of French as a foreign language from the University of Artois in France. He completed his final thesis on material applications of complex didactics at the University of Hong Kong (HKU), through the concepts of interdidacticity and interculturality.

Before joining the department in 2022, Cedric was a part-time lecturer at various universities, such as the University of Hong Kong (2013-2022), where he acted as a teacher and program coordinator. He also secured part-time positions at the Language Centre of Hong Kong Baptist University (2021-2022); the HKU School of Professional and Continuing Education (2018-2022); the Chinese University of Hong Kong (2021-2022) together with the CUHK School of Continuing & Professional Studies (2021-2022); as well as the University of Wollongong Australia College Hong Kong (2021-2022), formerly known as Community College of City University.
