Mr. Cheung graduated from HKBU with a Bachelor of Chinese Medicine and Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Biomedical Science double-degree and a Master’s degree in Chinese Medicine with a concentration in orthopaedics and tui na.  Apart from conducting clinical research on the use of Chinese medicines, acupuncture and manual therapy to treat bone fractures and joint dislocations, soft tissue injuries and other bone and joint diseases, Mr. Cheung is also keen on undertaking pedagogical research on the teaching of traditional Chinese medicine with modern approaches.  His research focuses on both clinical and educational researches. His clinical researches mainly focus on the management of bone and joint diseases using Traditional Chinese Medicine methods including fracture treatment, dislocation treatment and soft tissues injury treatment such as cervical diseases, protruded disc herniation, patella-femoral pain syndrome, osteoarthritis of joints, frozen shoulder, rotator cuff injury, tennis-elbow, golf-elbow, wrist pain, pelvic syndrome, hip joint diseases, ITB syndrome, sprained ankle and different kinds of sports injuries etc.  His investigations on modern teaching pedagogy research usage in TCM teaching include the application of service-learning in TCM teaching, the application of Flipped Classroom in clinical teaching, the systematic internship teaching and assessment rubrics development, internationalization of TCM teaching and the involvement of team teaching in TCM education etc.  Mr Cheung is also active in the Chinese medicine development in Hong Kong. He has been appointed as the Secretary General of Hong Kong Registered Chinese Medical Practitioner Society and the committee member (TCM Orthopedics) of Hong Kong Chinese Medicine Specialty Development Committee.

張振海醫師畢業於香港浸會大學，取得香港浸會大學中醫學學士、生物醫學（榮譽）理學士，以及香港浸會大學中醫學碩士（骨傷推拿方向）（優良）學位。張醫師畢業後一直留校擔任教學科研部中醫技術導師，從事骨傷臨床科學的研究，推動骨傷推拿臨床教學及臨床工作。  專業研究方面，張醫師從事中醫骨傷推拿及針灸臨床研究，範圍包括：骨折中醫整復、關節脫位中醫整復、頸椎病、腰椎間盤突出症、腰椎管狹窄症、脊柱側彎、髕骨綜合症、膝關節骨性關節炎、肩關節周圍炎、肩袖損傷、肱骨外上髁炎、肱骨內上髁炎、腕關節疼痛疾病、盆骨綜合征、髖關節骨性關節炎、髂脛束綜合征、梨狀肌綜合征、踝關節扭傷、各種體育運動創傷等。  教學研究方面，張醫師研究結合傳統中醫教學與現代教育方法，如服務學習在中醫本科教育之應用、翻轉教學法在中醫臨床教學之應用、中醫實習教育之系統推動及評估方法創新、中醫教育國際化、團隊合作教學方法等方面的研究。  張醫師獲推選擔任多項社會職務，致力推動中醫在香港及國際發展。他現為香港註冊中醫學會秘書長、慈善基金副秘書長，並於2017年獲委任香港中醫專科發展委員會骨傷科委員。
