Biography
I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Religion and Philosophy and Director in the Centre for Applied Ethics at Hong Kong Baptist University. Before joining HKBU, I worked in the Department of General Education at Hang Seng Management College and in Philosophy and Asian Studies at Tulane University. I received my Ph.D. in the Philosophy Department at the University of Maryland, College Park. My Areas of Research Specialization (AOS) include Applied Ethics & Moral Philosophy, Social & Political Philosophy, and Comparative Philosophy (Chinese & Western).

Current Research Projects: (1) Public Health Ethics, (2) Ethics of Privacy in A.I. and Technology, (3) Animal Ethics, (4) Ethics of War and Peace, (5) Ethics of Human Rights, and (6) Consequentialism, Confucianism, and Christianity.
