In 2018, the Hong Kong Museum of Art 香港藝術館 launched the “Hong Kong Art: Co-Creation” exhibition series, the aim of which is to encourage new #curatorial research and new interpretations and analyses of Hong Kong art.
Currently on show until April 2022, "New Horizons: Ways of Seeing Hong Kong Art in the 80s and 90s", co-curated by Janet Fong, highlights art works by seven significant artists or artist collectives. It also restages models of #iconic art spaces of the time, and illustrates the development of Hong Kong art during that period through archival materials such as books, posters, and newspaper clippings.
