Teaching and learning for social good has become one of the interests of university education. What does it mean? How can we achieve it?

In this webinar, you can be inspired by our four guest speakers: Professor Mee Ping LEUNG from the Hong Kong Baptist University will share about her latest service and learning community project relating to ‘unlearning’ education of arts. Professor Erwin HUANG from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology will share his experience on online experiential learning, and how to teach social innovation through entrepreneurship. Ms. Deborah WAN, BBS, JP will share her personal experience in setting up social enterprises for persons with disabilities in Hong Kong. Dr. Fred KU from the Chinese University of Hong Kong will talk about how does he incorporate social good and innovation education to experiential learning activities.

This sharing series is organised by the Teaching and Learning Community of Practice (T&L CoP). T&L CoP is a teacher community at CUHK connecting teachers who have shared interests on various themes.
