Description

The thematic motivation for this Camp is soundscape recording as an art practice. Soundscape recording is one of the most common activity sound artists and experimental musicians’ conduct. In Manila, as to whether it is a productive exercise or “simply a habit” is a matter that has not been fully articulated nor examined at
this point. This Camp will then reflect on the soundscape recording practices, in an attempt to posit a deeper understanding of the practice, and to find its place in the productivity of practitioners.
