Activity: Conference/talk/lecture/symposium/speech/workshop, etc β€Ί Event organized by non-HKBU units

Description

Amidst the hustle and bustle of the city, do you long for a sanctuary for the soul? Inspired by the ancient art of ink rubbing, artist Ross Yau transforms the imagery of Hong Kong’s uninhabited islands into a circular installation, titled π˜”π˜°π˜Άπ˜―π˜΅π˜’π˜ͺ𝘯𝘴 π˜‰π˜¦π˜Ίπ˜°π˜―π˜₯ 𝘐𝘐, allowing the audience to experience a journey of shifting scenery. He will be in residence at the β€œLive: Hong Kong Art Exhibition” to share his creative journey and lead a hands-on experience in this deeply traditional and ritualistic technique. Through the rhythmic flow of ink, slow down and rediscover a sense of calm and focus within the imprints of paper and ink.
