    For the 2024 edition of the Hong Kong International Literary Festival, the Society for Hong Kong Studies is collaborating with the Festival committee to curate a panel specifically focused on recent writings on Hong Kong history. Join esteemed scholars Carmen Tsui, John Wong, and Chi Man Kwong as they delve into the intricate realm of Everyday Architecture in Context: Public Markets in Hong Kong (1842–1981), soar through the skies with Hong Kong Takes Flight: Commercial Aviation and the Making of a Global Hub, 1930s-1998, and share the inspiring stories of Hongkongers in the British Armed Forces, 1860-1997. Moderated by renowned historian Christopher Munn.
