Description

As a recipient of the Tin Ka Ping Foundation Mainland Visiting Scholars Program, Peter Nelson hosted renowned artist Cao Shu [China Academy of Art] for a seminar series held in the Visualisation Research Centre at Hong Kong Baptist University. Over two days, artists and scholars presented their work within an interactive real-time display managed by Peter Nelson. Presenters included Cao Shu, Vvzela Kook, Royce Ng, and Lukasz Mirocha. The seminar's theme was the notion of ‘real-time worlds’ and how artists use 3D computer graphics and various forms of world-building in their practice. Our speakers were joined by guests from M+, City University, and CUHK alongside our Bachelors, Masters, and Ph.D. students.
