Description
Games 4 FinLit is a game design competition that aims to stimulate young people’s interest in personal finance through interactive experiences, deepening their understanding and application of financial knowledge. Games that focus on financial literacy can make learning about financial concepts fun and engaging, helping to maintain the interest of young players. Additionally, interactive simulations allow the youth to experience financial decision-making in a safe environment, where they can learn from mistakes without real-world consequences.HKBU students of all levels (undergraduate, taught postgraduate, and research postgraduate) are invited to submit board game and card game designs that help students improve their financial literacy and avoid financial fraud.
Games 4 FinLit is a collaboration between HKBU School of Business, HKBU School of Communications, and Young Financial Planners Association, and supports the Investor and Financial Education Council's (IFEC) Hong Kong Money Month 2025 and the Global Money Week (GMW) initiative. Global Money Week is an annual campaign launched by the OECD/INFE to promote financial literacy among children and young people.
