Description
Prof. Li serves as Information Director and Associate Editor of ACM Transactions on Social Computing (TSC), an AI interdisciplinary journal.ACM Transactions on Social Computing (TSC) is a premier interdisciplinary journal dedicated to advancing the synergistic interplay between computational systems and social science. TSC serves as a nexus for groundbreaking research that bridges computer science and social science to address complex societal challenges and reimagine human-centric technologies. The journal defines social computing as the dynamic integration of computational methods and social theories, where algorithms, data, and human behavior co-evolve to mediate, analyze, or shape interactions among individuals, communities, and institutions. TSC emphasizes two complementary pillars: Computing for Social Science and Social Science for Computing. It accepts papers of a variety of genres: system development and evaluation papers, empirical studies, systematic literature reviews, theory development papers, case studies, and descriptions of the translation of research into practice. Revised and extended versions of conference papers are also welcomed. TSC is published on a quarterly basis.
