Activity: Conference/talk/lecture/symposium/speech/workshop, etc › Event organized by non-HKBU units
This forum focused on the discussion of the "future" of children with new Technology, and responded to the current child development and education work from the perspective of different fields.
The virtual world we are facing is still in the state of a "blurring zone". It has not yet replaced the physical entity and become our "new reality". The state of this blurring zone is the common challenge we face in our current cultural experience, and discussions of new children are naturally carried out in this context. Compared with today's children, the identity of children in the future will be more diversified. The forum is not only about the special context brought by the times—the spatiality and technological development occurring in children's growth—but also about the changes in children's culture and the rich possibilities of educational concepts and practices, at a time when issues such as childism and children's philosophy are of widespread concern.
